• A1: We know firsthand how challenging it can be to find accommodations for dogs with behavioral quirks. When it comes to sitting, our priority is providing your dog with the care and comfort they need - either in your home or in one of our quiet and calm homes. Rules, structure and routine will be implemented when human parents are gone if that is what is needed to make sure your pup continues to succeed!

  • A2: Tooth & Tail’s facility is truly a home-away-from-home! Our teammates go above and beyond to ensure your pup’s digs resemble a home environment. We strive to make their stay fun, relaxing, and stress-free! There is a teammate on-site for all overnight stays, optimizing safety and security. Though we don’t have the capacity for facility tours due to our commitment to maintaining a calm, quiet atmosphere, we are happy to send you a video tour. You will also get pics or updates throughout your pups’ stay!

  • A3: To maintain a calm, stress-free environment for the dogs, we have an extensive trial process prior to approval for daycare and overnight stays. Prices are listed on the Services page. We know all dogs are different, and we will go at your pup’s pace. Some blow right through the trial, while others need a little more time to settle in.

    1. Meet & Greet: A 30-minute in-person session, where we meet you & your pup and customize a care plan.

    2. Socialization Session: A 60-minute session, where your pup gets to explore the home and socialize (if dog-social).

    3. Doggie Daycare Trial: Your pup spends the day with us!

    4. Overnight Trial: For anticipated stays of 1-3 nights, your pup will need to stay with us for a one night trial. For stays of 4+ nights, a 2-night trial is required.

Your pup must be able to be crated or free-roaming in a bedroom (without being destructive) during downtime.

Vaccinations: up-to-date Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella. After receiving the Bordetella vaccine, pups must wait a minimum of 7 days before arriving for daycare or overnights. Dogs are still shedding the Bordetella bacteria after receiving the vaccine and are contagious to other pups. Check your last vet bill and look for the "reminders" for your pup's due dates on these vaccines to make sure they are up to date!

Payment: Any reservation that is made during holiday dates, or that overlaps with holiday dates, will require a 100% deposit at the time of the reservation.
